Dried Plums With Bacon And Fresh Goat Cheese

Prep Time  15 minutes Cook Time  10 minutes Serves  25

Ingredients

25 each pitted dried plums*
11 oz goat cheese, divided into equal portions
6 each slices bacon, each cut into 2-inch pieces

*Canned dried plums may be substituted for pitted dried plums. Drain liquid and pat dry with a paper towel.


Directions

For each dried plum, make a lengthwise slit and spoon a portion of cheese into slit; wrap with a piece of bacon. Secure bacon with wooden pick; arrange on rack in broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned and barely crisp, turning once. Serve hot or warm.
