Natalie's winning wellness check list:

  • Eat simple, seasonal, nourishing foods, including an abundance of fruits and vegetables
  • Try to get your vitamins and minerals from whole foods
  • Build your own garden
  • Include spices and seasonings to boost the flavor of foods instead of using unhealthy fats
  • Consume adequate amounts of protein
  • Keep a nutritous go-to snack with you at all times (My favorite: California Dried Plums and nuts!)
  • Eat mindfully
  • Get plenty of quality sleep and stay hydrated
  • Develop a strong core
  • Find a sport or exercise you love and do it on a daily basis
  • Develop long-term and short-term fitness goals to stay healthy
  • Relax and leave time for fun with family and friends
