Dried Plum Snack Skewers
Chef Susan Goss of Zinfandel (Chicago) created these easy fruit and cheese skewers for the California Dried Plum Board.
1 medium apple, cored and cut into 16 wedges
16 fresh basil leaves
3 ounces Cheddar cheese, cut into 1-inch x 1/2-inch cubes
16 pitted dried plums
Thread 1 apple wedge, 1 basil leaf, 1 cube of Cheddar cheese and 1 dried plum onto toothpick. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
