Dried Plums with Oranges and Coconut
Let these orange-infused dried plums stand overnight and they will grow plumper and the juice will thicken. Serve with a drizzle of cream or sour cream, if desired.
1 pound pitted dried plums
4 cups water
1 cup canned mandarin orange segments, drained
1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
In saucepan, simmer dried plums, water and orange segments 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm or cold, sprinkled with coconut.
