Stewed Dried Plums
Stewed dried plums are the cornerstone of a healthy breakfast. Add to oatmeal, or stir into yogurt or cottage cheese.
1 cup pitted dried plums (about 6 ounces)
1 cup water
In saucepan, combine dried plums and water; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
To make Stewed Dried Plums in microwave, combine dried plums and water in microwaveable bowl. Cover with microwaveable plastic wrap; cut a few vents in wrap. Microwave on high power 2 minutes, or until dried plums are cooked but not mushy.
