Powders

Dried of 100% whole dried plum solids ranging in moisture content of 2-4% moisture. Powder is for use in reduced- and low-fat dry mixes, as well as processed meat and poultry products. Mixed fruit powders contain mixtures of dried plums with other fruits, such as apples and pears and may contain starch for use where a lighter color and milder flavor is desired.

Some dried plum powders can be used in meat and poultry applications to retain moisture, suppress the growth of some pathogens and extend shelf life.

Fruit blend powder (dried plums/apples/ and/or pears)
Description: Free-flowing blend of dried plums and/or apples and/or pears and may contain tapioca flour, pectin and anti-caking agents.
Moisture Range: 3.5-5.0%
Packaging: 40-52 lb. bag-in-box
Product Use: Fat replacement in bakery products. Retains moisture in pre-cooked meats. Inhibitor of Foodborne pathogens/ oxidation.
